About Christian Montenegro

Young Argentine artist Christian Montengero is not only teaching morphology in Buenos Aires where he lives but has so far visually updated a selection of powerful tales from the Bible including stories of creation, Adam and Eve, Noah's ark, the Tower of Babel and Sodom and Gomorrah. While Montenegro's illustrations and designs have a lot in common with the emotions of Expressionism and the texture of woodblock prints, they also impress with their unique and distinctly contemporary feel.
