About Joel Holland
Jam-packed with the artist’s sense of humour, the hilarious drawings which make up his recent series of prints often feature a mundane object, such as a kettle, a pile of books or a pair of mittens, accompanied by a line of hand-written text; both components equally essential in completing each piece. In some the text is just a silly observation, whereas in others such as ‘Might Has The RIght’ have a more serious note, still however managing to retain a light tone and statement.
Based in Brooklyn, New York, Joel has had his illustrations appear in leading publications such as The New York Times, and Time magazine and has a worldwide list of clients.
